Hand Tamper-Steel Handle

MARSHALLTOWN Tampers are used to flatten and smooth dirt, stone, asphalt, and other materials and come in two different styles. Our Tamper with an Ash Handle has a 8" x 8" cast iron base and a 43" ash handle. The Welded Dirt Tampers have a steel pipe construction with welded gussets for increased strength. The 48" handle may be filled with sand for added weight. You have your choice of a 8" x 8" or 10" x 10" base.
